About the Artist
Michele Field is a self-taught artist, she has become well established in Oxfordshire and is a
member of the Guild of Waterway Artists. This group is known to people interested in canals. Michele has had
many solo exhibitions and her work can be seen in many homes in the UK and overseas.
She has donated a number of paintings to charities including The Royal British Legion, The Horton
Hospital and in 2005 to the Kidlington Spire Appeal, this raised £150. Also many of her designs have been
used for charity cards.
Over the years her work has appeared in a number of national magazines and local news papers, she has
appeared on the Oxford channel and this March 2006 on ITV Central program, Water World.
