About the artist
Suzanne O’Driscoll is a graduate of the Central School of Art and Design, with a postgraduate Higher Diploma in Painting from the Slade School of Fine Art in London. She has won scholarships to travel in Mexico and Guatemala as well as Italy. Travel to other countries continues to be a major inspiration for her colourful and highly individual paintings, with her most recent trips, nearer to home, in Scotland and France.
Her work has been exhibited in numerous group and solo shows. It can be found in public and corporate art collections and includes work commissioned for specific places and events.
Suzanne works in oils on canvas and also mixed media, including water colour, inks and pastels on textured paper. Selected limited edition prints have been created.
After many years in London as a working artist, Suzanne moved to the country and converted a small barn in Blackthorn, a few miles from Bicester, into a studio.
