Founded in 1947, the Banbury and District Art Society aims to promote artists interest and participation in the local area. The society provides a varied programme of monthly meetings including demonstrations, talks and slide shows. Additionally the society holds annual exhibitions of members work and provides opportunities for members to socialise and work together on painting trips.
Membership is open to both amateur and professional artists, beginners or experienced, active and simply interested. All are welcome at this very friendly group.
Monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month (excluding January and August at St Mary's Centre, Horsefair, Banbury at 7.30pm. Next to St Mary's Church. Some car parking is available.
Annual Membership Fee - £15
Visitors welcome - charge £2 including coffee
